Bentley
Bentley: A Highly Sought-After Brand
Founded in 1919, Bentley is a British car manufacturer specializing in luxury cars and SUVs. Like many iconic luxury vehicle brands, Bentley has a history in sports racing. Bentley won six 24 Hours of Le Mans races between 1924 to 2003. During the Great Depression, sales halted for Bentley, and they were forced to liquidate in 1931. The company was later bought by Rolls-Royce, who took over its assets. Rolls-Royce decided to keep its motor division a separate business, and it was called Rolls-Royce Motors Limited.
In 1980 Rolls-Royce decided to sell Rolls-Royce Motors Limited to Vickers, and then in 1997, Vickers announced they would be selling Rolls-Royce Motors. A battle between BMW and Volkswagen ensued, ending with a splitting of the brands: BMW acquired Rolls-Royce while Volkswagen obtained Bentley. Bentley vehicles are popular because of the exclusivity of limited edition models, demand driven even higher over their hand-crafted leather seats and polished wood veneers, powerful engines and innovative technology.

Common Issues Bentley Vehicles Have
Here is a list of the most common issues your Bentley may need maintenance on:
- Air Suspension System
- When this type of suspension gets worn, it is quick to cause problems.
- Brake Light Failure
- Bentleys seem to have their brake lights burn out faster.
- Engine Problems
- Gaskets tend to leak in the engine, corrosion on the radiator, turbo oil pipe and vacuum issues, and cooling fan issues. Bentley engines are spectacular, yet they can have a lot of issues if not maintained regularly.
- Brake Hoses
- Brakes in Bentleys tend to wear down quicker than in other brands. Due to the Bentley’s performance nature, the brake hoses experience more wear and tear.
